Two days full of important news in Roma’s world, all coming from two main topics: yesterday’s match against Torino and today’s press conference for the stadium in Tor Di Valle.

Starting from the match, it was a huge win for the giallorossi as they have now a 9 points lead on Napoli, waiting for the Parthenopean to play this evening, even if Roma still has to play against Parma. The match resulted in a 2-1 win for Roma; the goalscorers were Destro 41′ and Florenzi 91′ for Roma and Immobile 52′ for Torino. Florenzi declared it was the most important signature of his entire life as it was his first under the Curva Sud. Gervinho was the assist man in both goals and he his now the leading one in the whole Serie A with 9 assists.

The press conference presenting the new stadium of AS Roma was held at the Campidoglio at 11 AM, nearby the Colosseum. There was every Roma player together with Falcao, Bruno Conti, Giacomo Losi, president Pallotta, Ignazio Marino (the major of Rome), Dan Meis (the architect), Italo Zanzi, Rudi Garcia and many other personalities related to Roma’s world. Dan Meis held a conference at the end explaining some technical characteristics of the stadium. He said that it will be built with stones caught from the same mine as the Colosseum ones, that there will be a Nike superstore nearby the stadium and that there will be a Wi Fi connection in the entire structure. Totti declared “I hope that there won’t be bureaucratic issues and that this project will be completed”.

As reported by Sky Sports, president Pallotta and Rudi Garcia are working on Garcia’s renewal until 2017. Serie A officialised dates and hours of the matches until 11th may. These are Roma’s matches : Friday 25th april 2014 20.45 ROMA – MILAN, Friday 9th may 2014 20.45 ROMA – JUVENTUS
